Jay Band Boosters
The Jay Band Boosters are comprised of parents of current band students in the Jay Band Music Program, grades 6-12 to join and participate in band activities so that their child has the best possible experience while in the band program. Most band booster activity in the fall deals with the marching program but all areas are given attention throughout the year. The Ice Cream Social in June and the Band Spectacular in February showcase all grade levels of the band program. Their are additional concerts by individual bands throughout the year.
Fund raisers help offset the costs of participating so that all students can enjoy being a member of one of the district's finest programs. Boosters, directors, and students work together to ensure that our program is one of the best in the state.
Some ways that you can help as a booster include:
• Helping with competitions
• Provide desserts for events
• Help at band camp or other events
• Show support by attending events
